The Cybersecurity Engineering Lead will be responsible for: Researching, designing, and engineering solutions to security requirements and provide recommendations for the best alternatives to the Government Identifying the potential risk of the designs and implementations of future programs related to the deployment of TSD IT Systems Identifying TSD IT Systems Current Security Postures Maintaining the Authority to Operate (ATO) for the TSD IT Systems Our team will need to support the government with: The TSA TSD IT Security Branch is responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing the end-to-end IT System Security Program. Ensuring compliance with cybersecurity requirements is critical to the success of these mission systems. All systems are used to improve the security of our nation’s transportation systems by applying dynamic risk-based, intelligence-driven vetting procedures and enhancing its use of technology. In addition to these five existing systems, TSD will be adding additional IT systems to support the TSA Pre✓® expansion effort. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Office of Information Technology, Technology Solutions Division (TSD) is seeking Security Engineering and Security Compliance for TSA mission critical systems including Secure Flight (SF), Screening Gateway (SG), Transportation Vetting System (TVS), Technology Infrastructure Modernization (TIM) System, and the Security Threat Assessment Mission Platform (STAMP).
